Celebrate Earth Day by joining us for the free screening of what the Wisconsin State Journal calls, "A Film to Knock People's Socks Off"! Enjoy a wild ride of adventure from the air, ground, water, and a secret underworld as leading scientists, local guides, and area enthusiasts reveal their passion for, and knowledge of, the Driftless. Learn why the beautiful region we live in is the only "island driftless region" in the world. After the film, award-winning co-producer, George Howe, will join us for a Q&A. Funding for this film is provided by the Rosemary Garfoot Public Library and a Beyond the Page National Endowment for the Humanities grant with special thanks to the Madison Community Foundation. Our partners are the Gateway to the Driftless organization, the Black Earth Public Library, and the Mazomanie Free Library.
