press release: Madison Area Community Earth Day Celebration: 46th Anniversary of Earth Day
Featuring Madison Area Community Chorus & Orchestra, Guest Soloists, and Ringing Badgers Handbell Ensemble, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1021 Spaight Street, on Saturday, April 23 (2pm) and Sunday, April 24 (2pm).
The program opens with Maestro's Ringing Badgers Handbell Ensemble. Following intermission, the Madison Area Community Chorus & Orchestra, under the direction of Mark Bloedow, presents G. F. Handel's choral masterpiece "Ode for St. Cecelia's Day" and other selections. Guest soloists include Rachel Edie Warrick, soprano, and J. Adam Shelton, lyric tenor. A reception will follow the concert in Immanuel's Lakeview Room.
