media release: Local country artist, Elizabeth Mary is releasing a new single, “Share Your Shine”, Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the High Noon Saloon downtown Madison.

Elizabeth Mary, originally from Dubuque, Iowa made her way onto the music scene in 2010 as the lead singer of a regional cover band. Following her dreams, she left her day job in 2018 to pursue music full-time. Since then, Elizabeth has built an impressive resume performing as a solo act, duo act with Paul Schluter and with her full band. Elizabeth Mary and her band have played many high-profile shows including opening for national acts in the area including Clint Black, Lorrie Morgan, Sara Evans, Air Supply and Jordan Davis. Elizabeth Mary and the band won the Hodag Country Music Festival in 2021 winning 1^st place at the Wisconsin State Country Band Contest. Elizabeth Mary also won silver as the “Best Singer-songwriter” category in the 2022 Best of Madison.

After becoming a mom in early 2021, the phrase “Share Your Shine” inspired Elizabeth to write a song with her baby boy in mind. After completing the song, she felt compelled to turn the lyrics of the song into a children’s book. With over 900 copies sold from her website, the book is the perfect way to wind down the day remembering that no matter where life takes you, even through the ups and downs, to always remember to share your shine. Kindness will always win.

Elizabeth and her band will be releasing a full production version of “Share Your Shine” Thursday, September 8^th digitally and celebrating with a song release party at the High Noon Saloon. It will be a night of women of county with Madison’s own Kirstie Kraus and Alyssia Dominguez opening the show. Tickets are on sale now, $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Doors open at 7pm, show at 7:30.
