Neeta Saluja is a local cook and author of the cookbook, Six Spices. In this class, Neeta will talk about the origins of spices and how she came to write a cookbook as she demonstrates how to make a vegetarian dish using fall produce and a rice pilaf. She will also talk about the preparation and importance of chai in Indian culture. Taste samples will be available to participants at the end of the demonstration. Recommended for ages 13-adults.
