The 2020 top-voted display on the Fitchburg Holiday Lights Tour.

media release: We invite everyone to get involved by decorating their homes and yards to participate in this beloved city-wide holiday lights tradition.

The Holiday Lights Tour & Jubilee will take place December 13-15, 2024, and promises to be a magical weekend filled with twinkling lights, cheerful decorations, and the joy of the season. Residents are encouraged to transform their homes into winter wonderlands, complete with displays that can be enjoyed by families and friends as they drive through the city. Whether it's strings of lights draped across rooftops, inflatable snowmen in the yard, or beautifully adorned trees, every contribution adds to the holiday spirit. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your creativity and share your festive cheer with everyone. 

To participate, simply register your home by Monday, December 9, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. You can sign up by emailing administration@fitchburgwi.gov. All registered homes will be included on the tour map (available on December 12 at 5:00 p.m.). Participating addresses will have a sign placed in their yard with an assigned number for voting.

In addition to adding beauty in our neighborhoods, the Holiday Lights Tour will include a friendly competition! The Fitchburg Chamber Visitor & Business Bureau will award a fabulous gift basket with prizes from local businesses for the favorite display, and once again, residents are encouraged to rally their neighbors to join in on the fun for a chance to be voted "Best Street."

The city of Fitchburg invites you to experience a festive display of decorated vehicles at Fire Station 1, located at 5791 Lacy Road, on Saturday, December 14, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Come admire a fire truck, ambulance, police car, and public works vehicles, all celebrating the season. Plus, Santa will be on hand to visit with everyone and hand out special treats!

Grab your lights, gather your family, and let's light up Fitchburg with joy and cheer! All the weekend's events, map of the 2024 Holiday Lights Tour and links to the voting form will be online at visitfitchburg.com and on the Holiday Lights Tour Facebook page and City website.
