Flight of the Butterflies
press release: Friends of Lake Wingra is hosting a 3D IMAX showing of Flight of the Butterflies at AMC Fitchburg on Oct 9, starting at 10:45 and ending around noon. Tickets are $10.25 available online only at http://monarchsforkids.bpt.me.
The event will benefit the non-profit Friends of Lake Wingra, which works on watershed management and so proceeds will help us preserve butterfly habitat right here in Madison.

This visually stunning movie is especially engaging and educational for children. It follows the story of a young boy interested in butterflies. He pursues his passion and becomes a scientist who solves a major mystery of the natural world. The film explores not only the incredible transformation of caterpillar to butterfly, but also the unbelievable migration pattern that Monarchs take annually all the way down to Mexico. In 3D the butterflies practically tickle your nose!
