A two-part 100th birthday gala for Folklore Village Founder Jane Farwell, b. 1916, begins at Farwell Hall, from 4-6 pm Sat., Jan. 23, with Representative Sondy Pope presenting a 2016 Joint Wisconsin House and Senate Citation, recognizing Folklore Village's celebration of the “Year of Jane Farwell.”
Dance, music, and Story Slam follows. All are invited to stay 6:30-11:00 pm for a potluck dinner, folkdancing to live music, and stories, play party and old-fashioned games.
