press release: On Saturday, July 4th, kick-off Bacon Week with a fun 5K Run. The Great Bacon Run is divided into two groups, the Beer Bellies and the Pork Bellies. The Beer Bellies run clockwise while the Pork Bellies run counter-clockwise, on the same course, at the same time. Awards are given for the first 3 finishers in each group. This is a non-timed event but the course is accurately measured if you are keeping time.

8-9:30am - Packet Pick-Up & Walk Up Registration at Angell Park

10am - The Great Bacon Run - Starts and finishes at Angell Park in Sun Prairie, WI

10:30am - Free bacon, soda & live entertainment from Bahama Bob Island Music, in the pavilion

11am - Awards Ceremony and random prizes

12pm - Buy any drink, get the exact drink free at Ski's Saloon (until close)
