RSVP for Heritage Boats and A Wild River Float
Calling all boat geeks! Bring your homemade, vintage, or unique boats (all boats are welcome) on our special trip on the Namekagon River. We'll start our day at the Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum. WCHM executive director, Jed Malischke, will give us a personal tour of the museum, which is "devoted to the acquisition, preservation, and dissemination of materials and information relating to the history and heritage of canoe building, canoes, and canoeing."
After the tour we'll depart for a 12 mile trip on the Namekagon River. We'll be guided by River Alliance board member and St. Croix River Association executive director, Deb Ryun.
After the event, you are invited to return to the Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum for their end of the season celebration.
Lunch will be provided.
Participants will need to provide their own boats and paddles, life vests, water and other outdoor necessities (sunscreen, bug spray, etc).
Advance registration required.
