Heroes 5K

press releasd: Arnold Air Society, a student organization at UW Madison, will be hosting its fifth annual Heroes' 5K on Saturday, April 16th at 11am.  Arnold Air Society is a professional, honorary service organization composed of Air Force ROTC cadets.  The race will begin behind Tripp Hall (in the Lakeshore Dorm residence halls) and head west along the Lakeshore path.  Registration for the race is $20 and registration before March 31st guarantees a race shirt in your size!

Proceeds from the Heroes' 5K will support Badger Honor Flight and the William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital in Madison. Badger Honor Flight is a regional affiliate of the national Honor Flight Network. The purpose of the Honor Flight Network is to ensure that WWII and terminally ill veterans from any war have the opportunity to see the memorials that have been erected in their honor.
