Hill Fest

press release: Alumni, friends, students, faculty, and staff will gather Tuesday, September 3 for the La Follette School’s annual Hill Fest welcome picnic. Hill Fest will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on the beautiful La Follette grounds overlooking Lake Mendota at 1225 Observatory Drive.
La Follette School Director Susan Yackee will welcome attendees, and Wes Sparkman (MPA ‘00) will provide brief remarks. As director of the Tamara D. Grigsby Office For Equity and Inclusion, Sparkman oversees Dane County’s efforts to provide and promote excellence in public service through the development of an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable county government.
Picnic food, including a vegetarian option, and beverages will be provided, and a cash bar will be available. There will be opportunities to socialize, play games, and network. Children, families, and friends are welcome.
Free parking is available after 4:30 p.m. along Observatory Drive (Lot 26) and in Lot 34 between Liz Waters Hall and Tripp Commons. Bus routes 80 and 81 also have stops within a block of the La Follette School.
For planning purposes, RSVPs are encouraged but not required via this form by Monday, August 26.
