(2016|101mins) “Funny, fast-moving and filled with imaginatively staged action set pieces, Hunt for the Wilderpeople is a survival movie with a big heart and a pair of memorable heroes. Veteran actor (Sam) Neill is terrific as the ornery homesteader, but the show is easily stolen by the fabulous newcomer (Julian) Dennison as the rotund Ricky. -Jim Healy, Wisconsin Film Festival Director of Programming Wisconsin Film Festival Director of Programming, Jim Healy, will introduce the film and speak about the Festival, the largest campus based film festival in the country. Seating is first come, first served with room for 50 guests. Doors open 1/2 hour before start time. This film has been rated PG-13 by the MPAA. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
