press release: The buzzy new alternative pop act I Don't Know How But They Found Me (aka iDKHOW) will be heading to Majestic Theatre on 5/17. Comprised of long-time Panic! At The Disco bassist Dallon Weekes (one of the songwriters/ lyricists behind Panic's Platinum release Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!) and drummer Ryan Seaman, the band has been dominating alternative radio in recent weeks with their whimsical, carnival-esque single "Choke" landing in the top 30 hits, including the #4 most added track at Mediabase and 26 new adds to national radio the last two weeks as well as holding the #3 spot on the Alternative Countdown on Sirius XM's Alt Nation channel.
This spring, the band embarks on their first headlining tour, dubbed "Night Heat" with 17 national stops and two festival appearances (Big Surf Waterpark and Shaky Knees). The tour is in support of the band's debut EP 1981 Extended Play (Fearless). Already with nearly 26 million streams, the EP debuted at #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart. Recently having graced the covers of Alternative Press and the UK's Rock Sound magazines, iDKHOW was named the "2019 Artist to Watch" by Amazon and "Artist on the Rise" by YouTube. This is a great chance to check them out while they are still on the up-and-up!
