Imagination Celebration

On June 18, an Imagination Celebration event will reveal and showcase the creativity and talent that often goes unnoticed in the Waunakee area. Attendees to the event at Waunakee High School will see dance performances, musical acts, artists at work and other exhibits and displays from 3:00 – 8:30 p.m. Attendees will experience new things with local groups and companies such as Octopi Brewing Company, Tibetan artist painters, Midwest Performing Arts and everything in between.

The event begins at 3:00 p.m. with exhibits, a DJ and other performances. Among exhibitors will be local artists, service organizations and other companies who utilize creativity every day in their work. Exhibitors will be showing their creativity by having examples of their creative outlets as well as creating within their space. Exhibiting will end at 7:30 p.m. During exhibiting there will also be many opportunities for attendees of all ages to participate in activities and express their creativity.

At 7:30 p.m. the Waunakee Community Band will end the evening with an hour long concert in the Performing Arts Center.

This event is completely free to all attendees and is open to all visitors from surrounding communities.

This will be the third time the Waunakee Community has come together to celebrate creativity through the Imagination Celebration. The event is volunteer run with support from the Village of Waunakee and Arts Wisconsin.
