press release: Think of this class as a development and maintenance program for the skills and habits needed to write researched-based short and long-form fiction. Designed to give students different methodologies for using and incorporating research to into their stories and novels, writers will learn how to develop plot, setting and characters, using best-practices to grow fiction out of fact.
This three-part series is facilitated by Melissa Falcon-Field, recipient of the Katherine Anne Porter Writer- in- Residence appointment and Bread Loaf Writer’s Conference alumnus. Falcon-Field published her debut novel, "What Burns Away" in 2015.
