Isthmus On Tap Next
Isthmus On Tap Next: Five homebrews, one winning beer
Sample and vote at five tasting events. The winning brewer at each will advance to the finals in January at Isthmus Beer & Cheese. The overall winner there will be the next Isthmus beer brewed by WBC.
The contest starts off with five rounds, each devoted to a different style of beer. The Madison Homebrewers are once again selecting brewers to enter in each category, but the opening rounds are all public tastings, where participating tasters vote for the best brew.
These individual small-batch tasting events are slated in July, August, September and October, and are all free with a ticket. The two-hour tasting parties also feature free beer from WBC.
Public tasting events (free, but a ticket is required):

The overall winning beer will be brewed for a limited 150-barrel run for distribution citywide, just like Markmann and Holzhauer’s inaugural “Isthmus IPA.”
