press release: We grapple with the normality of everything. When will we be who we mean to be? When will we live free? Who will our children become, and how does who we become influence that end? We keep reaching, our heads down and our feet moving toward the hope that still remains behind all of our doubts.
Looking back, it seems that we were doing well. But, we weren’t getting any younger. And when we dreamed of the future, it brightened with thoughts of years spent together and the birth of a child. Seeking refuge, we left our concrete jungle for open acres of green. This was to be our new life, a fresh start. However, every plan has its flaws.
Masters (out 3/3/17) is Jared Grabb’s fourth solo album. His earnest brand of indie/Americana creates low-key anthems for all working class dreamers.
In his years as a musician, Grabb has toured the continental United States and Germany, performing over 1000 shows solo and with rock bands: Scouts Honor, Angry Gods, and The Forecast.
