“My name is Jessica Curning Kuenzi and I have loved nature photography since looking through my grandparent’s National Geographic magazines all throughout my childhood.  I got my first camera on my 8th birthday and have been taking pictures non-stop ever since I received my associate’s degree in photography from Madison College in 2001.  All of my photographs were taken in Wisconsin, and roughly 80% were taken where I live in beautiful Blue Mounds, Wisconsin.  I admire nature so much and love to show others the beauty in nature, even the most basic things that might go unnoticed by most.  To me, nature photography is a way to preserve nature forever and bring it into people’s homes to enjoy and appreciate every day.  I also work at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in the cytology lab.  One day, I hope to save up enough money to travel around the country and maybe even the world and take pictures of beauty everywhere.
