The shared history of these American roots musicians goes back half a century to Kweskin’s eponymous Jug Band, one of a few groups to provide a direct link between the early 1960s folk boom and the hippies of the psych era. Last year’s JKJB reunion has led to a new duo album released this month by Kweskin and Muldaur, Penny’s Farm, featuring fresh interpretations of favorite songs learned over the years. The accompanying tour brings the pair to work their magic in Stoughton.
