Jonas Myers

press release: Pianist, singer-songwriter Jonas Myers is an interesting sort. Currently living a semi-nomadic life, he is traveling the country, playing in a variety of venues, working on his first album.  His style combines pop structures with meditative improvisation, creating a unique and multifaceted sound.  With many years of playing professionally---including becoming a top call jazz pianist in Seattle---he is equally comfortable playing piano in jazz clubs, bass in a folk jam, or mandolin for tips in a park.  No wonder his song-writing heroes include the likes of Joni Mitchell, Randy Newman and Tom Waits.  That’s quite an eclectic mix!
