media release:  Piano Fondue has been entertaining crowds of all sizes for over fifteen years. It was started in Madison, Wisconsin in 2005 by Josh Dupont and Chris Lange, and is now run by Josh and his wife, Francie Phelps, with teams in Madison and Nashville. Francie is native to Madison, and as a vocalist, has performed with such legends as Freedy Johnston, Butch Vig and Duke Erikson of Garbage, Ben Sidran, Dan Navarro, and Michael Massey. Her voice is an inspiration. Josh was born and raised in Mississippi, where he was steeped in blues and jazz from his early years, and it still shows in his improvisatory style to this day. Always at home in front of a crowd, his energy and ease at the piano are a marvel.

This show is a treat. Performing as a duo at one of Piano Fondue's beautiful baby grand pianos are Francie and Josh. They will be singing anything you can think of. In fact, you control the entire song lineup with Piano Fondue's revolutionary Digital Setlist. Designed by Francie and Josh and developed right here in Madison, the Digital Setlist is a website that allows the audience to create and re-order the show’s set list in real-time.
