“As an artist, I have progressed from making pottery, to poetry, then photography, and now making art with handmade paper. In September 2008, my husband and I moved to Spring Green. Within a year of moving, I discovered that I like setting stones on handmade paper. After using papers made by others, I began making my own paper. I am educated as a soil and plant scientist and worked in laboratories in Madison.
The pieces in this show are inspired by pictures taken of outer space by the Hubble Space Telescope.” – Judith Bradshaw-Rouse
