Kanopy Dance Academy All School Show

press release: You can help support our dancers with a small-suggested donation of $5, $10 or $20. All proceeds benefit the Kanopy Academy and our scholarship fund.  

As is our spring tradition, Kanopy’s Dance Academy’s student showcase highlights the creativity of our student dancers and the amazing skills in dance and teamwork that they have mastered in modern and ballet techniques as well as in choreography. The program will include selections from each of the Academy’s dance classes (levels 1-6) and the pre-professional program, Kanopy 2.  

As a special treat, Academy graduate, (and now accepted into the professional trainee program of the Martha Graham Company in NYC), Sierra Powell will perform Lisa Thurrell’s “Persephone”.  

Kanopy’s All School Show gives our students an opportunity to perform on stage in a professional venue—on our own home stage at the Overture Center---and to share their accomplishments and creativity with family, friends and dance lovers from throughout the community.  

Support our student dancers…join us for the entire afternoon from 1-5 PM or drop in for an uplifting hour.
