Arts + Literature Laboratory presents this variation of its recurring “Strollin'...” programs outdoors at one location: downtown Middleton's green space at 7550 Hubbard Ave. The lineup includes the improvising young artist collective The Cherry Pit, the all-star aggregation Jesse Schaffer Huwe & Muench (Vince, John, Jim and Paul, respectively), and the big band revivalists Ladies Must Swing.

As an all-outdoors variation on Strollin' Middleton, this year's Middleton Jazz Fest will be held at one stage. Committed to bringing live music to jazz fans and gig opportunities to musicians, Middleton Jazz Fest presents three outstanding and stylistically diverse groups.

Keeping in mind continued Covid restrictions and precautions, Middleton Jazz Fest will be held at one outdoor location. Order dinner to go from your favorite downtown restaurant, and enjoy a meal via Pick Your Picnic with live jazz by three great local bands. There are picnic tables on the green, or bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. This free, family-friendly event is made possible with support from the Middleton Community Development Authority, John and Carolyn Peterson Charitable Foundation, Inc., Middleton Chamber of Commerce, and WORT.
