Latino Workers Project Community Forum

The Latino Workers Project has scheduled two community forums to collect testimony from Latino immigrant workers on their experiences working in Dane County. The testimony will be used in preparing a report updating a similar 2001 study.  The forums are an opportunity for immigrant workers to tell their stories both positive and negative about working in Dane County and to give specific recommendations about how to increase opportunity and improve conditions.

The first forum will be held on Thursday, June 25 at Centro Hispano from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

The second forum will be on Saturday, July 25 at the Villager Mall from 10am to 12noon.

Simultaneous interpretation will be available at both events.
