Learning to See Late in Childhood
press release: McPherson Eye Research Institute, 4th Annual Endowed Lecture: "Learning to See Late in Childhood"
Speaker: Dr. Pawan Sinha, MIT
Project Prakash is an initiative that provides treatment to blind children in India, and follows the post-recovery development of visual skills in children whose vision is in some measure restored. Pawan Sinha, PhD, the founder of Project Prakash and a Professor in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT, will discuss the project and his studies in an enlightening lecture.
