A reading of the play will be presented by Playwrights Ink of Madison (PI) in cooperation with the UW-Madison Retirement Association (UWRA), the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters (WASAL), and the Wisconsin Initiative for Science Literacy (WISL).

The main themes are the intense rivalry of two powerful Cardinals for the Papacy and their compelling need to control the politically toxic Galileo, a person they appreciate and admire. The topics include history, science, astronomy, literature, psychology, politics, religion.
Registrants will get notes on the play’s themes and characters.
