Leopold Education Project
press release: An innovative environmental education curriculum based on essays from A Sand County Almanac, written by renowned conservationist, Aldo Leopold. LEP teaches students and adults about humanity's ties to the natural environment in an effort to conserve and protect the earth's natural resources. This Leopold Education Project workshop is a 4 hour, hand-on training featuring the NEW 2016 Curriculum Guide. Open to all environmental educators, formal and nonformal, and those interested in teaching others about conservation, nature, and instilling a “land ethic” in students. Participants will receive a copy of Leopold’s A Sand County Almanac, the new revised curriculum, and a set of Leopold Exploration Cards. Fee: $35
