Luminary Snowshoe & Ski

media release: Join Dane County Parks to enjoy an evening stroll under the winter stars. We will have 2 paths set up of luminaries, one for those who would like to cross country ski and one for those who would like to snowshoe. After getting out on the trails, warm up by the fire and enjoy hot cocoa, cider or s'mores! An indoor area will be available for warming up in our Nature Center space, where you can view our ambassador animals and do a winter-themed craft.5-7:30 1/24

Cost: Free. S'mores & Hot Cocoa will be available with donation to our environmental education center.

Age: All

Note: Snowshoes available for rent in the nature center space. $5 per pair to use during the event. Children and adult sizes available. These are available on a first come first serve basis. We recommend wearing snow boats when using the snowshoes.

If there is no snow, event will still be hosted as a luminary hike.
