Phone calls to elected officials not going through? Unsure where to plug into organizing to save healthcare? Looking for better ways to hold our politicians accountable?
Join us for a training and strategy session to learn how to get answers directly from the politicians in power! The agenda includes:
--Advocacy 101: storytelling, formulating an "ask," and other tips
--How to pick the most effective tool for a given issue or bill
--Toolbox practice: calls, lobby visits, birddogging
Itching to get involved in organizing sooner? Come to our weekly meetings! Mondays at 7:30 PM.
This event is organized by Madison Advocates for Healthcare, a group formed in January 2017 to fight for healthcare for all, costing less, covering more people and more care.
