Madison Arts Commission Grant Writing Workshop

press release: The City of Madison funds Madison artists and non-profit organizations through the Madison Arts Commission's annual grant programs. The updated guidelines and applications for 2019/2020 are posted on MAC's website (www.cityofmadison.com/mac).

Project Grants provide up to $3,000 for performances, exhibitions or events that enrich the cultural lives of Madison citizens. Legacy Grants provide up to $1,500. Arts in Education Grants provide up to $3,000 for co-curricular or extracurricular arts-based educational programming. Individual Artist Fellowships provide up to $1,500.

MAC offers a one-hour general workshop to introduce applicants to our guidelines and application.

Grant Workshops will be in room 206 of the Madison Municipal Building, 215 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd 53703.

MAC also offers volunteer one-on-one assistance with the applications in free grant writing clinics held throughout the community & by appointment.
