Madison Civics Club

press release: The last meeting of the Madison Civics Club Luncheon and Speaker Series is April 8, 2017. The meeting will take place at Monona Terrace from 11am-1pm, includes lunch and is $40 for walk-ins.

The Madison Civics Club is celebrating its 105 years by taking a closer look at our society. To highlight our evolution, the speaker is Professor Kelly Wilz, Associate Professor of Communication/Theater Arts and Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County. Her research and teaching explore the intersections of education, media literacy, gender, politics, democracy and popular culture.
