press release: Madison Contemporary Fiber Artists (MCFA) new show; Connections, will run September 1, 2016 through October 31, 2016 at the UW Arboretum Visitor Center, 1207 Seminole Highway. The show hours are Monday – Friday, 9:30 – 4:00, and Saturday and Sunday 12:30 – 4:00. The show includes works of more than 20 artists exploring each artist’s connection with Wisconsin and the natural world. Works include art quilts, surface design, beading, weaving, stitching, and mixed fiber media. Opening Reception for Madison Contemporary Fiber Artists show Connections – Sunday, September 11, 2016, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
