For the past twenty years, MCDS has been marking the beginning of the school year with the ringing of a traditional school bell. As the school celebrates its 20th anniversary, MCDS has enrolled over 440 students, a growing high school featuring the Madison area’s only International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and a thriving athletics program offering 12 varsity sports.
Planning, design, and construction of the project is provided by Bray Architects and Findorff Construction. The $6.7 million project was secured by a capital campaign led by the MCDS Board of Trustees and volunteer parent committees. The campaign was a significant community effort, with 100% participation from faculty, staff, and trustees, and over 75% participation from families.
