The Madison Savoyards, an institution since 1963, present a witty production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s last great operetta. With delightful singing and bouncy choreography, the show explores issues of class division and monarchy amid the mayhem of mistaken identities. See page 29. The Children's Pre-Show will take place on Sunday, August 7 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm! Kids ages 6 to 12 are invited for a musical puppet narrative of The Gondoliers storyline, an up-close look at the backstage area, and a craft and snack related to the show. The pre-show is free with purchase of a matinee children's ticket, but space is limited, so please contact Krystal Lonsdale at krys.lonsdale@gmail.com to reserve a spot. Parents are welcome to observe.
