We here at the Red Rooster strive to provide a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere for our guests at all times. Even though we just opened in April of 2022, we’ve managed to become one of the premier small music venues in Madison, hosting fantastic local and national talent. We also serve delicious food, prepared from scratch and with love.
Our initial construction plan had two phases. The first involved a major renovation to the interior of our building and making upgrades to the bar, kitchen, bathrooms, and sound equipment. After a lot of time, effort, hard work, and funds, we completed this phase. Our friends and family chipped in to help as they could, generously donating their time and money to help us meet our goal of opening last spring. We are so grateful for their passion and support of a locally-owned business that’s integral to the health and vibrancy of our music community.
We are calling on that passion again as we prepare for our second phase of improvements. While we’re proud of our indoor space, we need to bring our outdoor space up to par. We plan to repave the parking lot and add a large deck with lots of seating for folks to enjoy. We’ll also have an outdoor music stage with additional seating, a bar for beverage service outside, and improved landscaping to ensure the space is cozy and welcoming. We’re excited to start construction in summer of 2023, and we’re confident it’ll turn into a warm, inviting space for all to enjoy. The budget is running higher than we can muster on our own, and we’d greatly appreciate your help funding this effort. We’re hoping our friends, family, and music-loving community will unite again to help us bring the Rooster’s outdoor space to life.
Thank you for your generous support!
