Join us December 8 for an evening with Marc Brown, an author and illustrator of children’s books. He is best known for his series Arthur. The TV adaptation that first aired in 1994 on PBS has gone on to won six Emmy awards and received 25 nominations. Arthur is also the recipient of the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award for excellence in broadcasting. Since publishing the first Arthur story in 1976, Arthur’s Nose, Brown has written and illustrated more than thirty books related to the series as well as many other titles, such as Monkey: Not Ready for Kindergarten and The Little Shop of Monsters, which he co-wrote with Goosebumps author, R.L. Stine.
This event will take place in Shannon Hall at 7:30 (Doors open at 7). This is a free event, no tickets, space is limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis
