Sunday, September 25, 3:00pm, the Madison Music Collective will open their Fall “Jazz on a Sunday” season at The Brink Lounge (701 East Washington Avenue, Madison) with the highly anticipated performance by internationally acclaimed jazz cellist and educator, Matt Turner.  Presented in an intimate trio setting, Mr. Turner will be accompanied by Greg Pagel, piano and Devon Drobka, drums.   

Immediately following the performance the audience will be afforded a question and answer session with the musicians.  This very popular Q&A session is a unique feature the Madison Music Collective has initiated to bring a better understanding of jazz to our community.

The Matt Turner concert is presented by the Madison Music Collective (MMC).  The MMC is a non-profit whose goal is to grow the local audience for jazz and other forms of improvised music and help audience members deepen their understanding of and appreciation for, this challenging, rewarding, and most American art form.
