Middleton Cycling Infrastructure Ride

press release: Due to a cyclist being forced off Century Avenue by a car in a hostile way on Oct. 3, a ride/demonstration down Century Avenue and University Avenue in Middleton is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 10, at 6pm. This ride's purpose would be to show how poor the East/West connectors are in Middleton for both adults and children since many do not feel safe commuting to work or school. Ideally, it would be great if someone could film a couple trouble sections to have proof on how close cars come to cyclists (while going over the speed limit). Let's plan on meeting in the Parking lot of Harbor Wellness Center at 5:45-6pm Monday, October 10th. We will ride onto Allen Blvd and head East on Century. We will turn around at Q, ride back on Century to Branch St and come back down University to Allen. The entire route is about 3 miles.
