Without further ado, the first title announcement for the 15th annual Milwaukee Film Festival...Metropolis with live accompaniment from the Anvil Orchestra!

Silent film-accompanying ensemble The Anvil Orchestra will join us to provide an unforgettable live score to Fritz Lang's sci-fi epic, Metropolis.

Pop Culture World News wrote the following about the North American premiere of METROPOLIS in Los Angeles in 2010: "When the film ended and the musicians took a bow, the entire packed house of 1,100 festival-goers was on its feet applauding and screaming."
