Monona Library Fundraiser

press release: On Tuesday, August 11 from 5 to 8pm, Culver’s Restaurant at 4401 Cottage Grove Rd in Madison will be donating 10% of all dine-in and carryout sales to the Children’s Room of the Monona Public Library. Sink your teeth into a Butterburger or  enjoy some of Culver’s Flavor of the Day and support Monona Public Library’s Children’s Services.

Paul Kneubuehl, manager of Culver’s of Cottage Grove Road’s Scoopie Nights, is excited to see so many organizations trying to help others. “Customers like Culver’s Scoopie Night because they are spending money on dinner while helping children in their own community of Monona,” said Kneubuehl, “it’s a multifaceted evening, it’s a way to give back to the community and a way to bring people together.”

Youth Services Coordinator, Karen Wendt, stated, “Culver’s Night in 2014 was a great success! The donation covered the expenses for the Kickoff party for our new 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Early Literacy program. We are very excited to partner again this summer withCulver’s!"

A special door prize drawing will be held as part of the event. Free door prize tickets are available at all Monona Public Library children’s programs in July, one ticket per person per event. Patrons can bring their tickets to Culver’s on August 11th from 5–8pm to enter the drawing. Come and support your library!
