THE GERI MARSH BENEFIT
SUPPORTING PLASTICITY, TENACITY, FAITH AND COURAGE
Geri, a wife and mother of two children and two grandchildren, went into the hospital for simple shoulder surgery. She developed an infection that spread throughout her body, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down, for a period of time. Doctors told her she would never walk again. However, through tough determination, and a lot of hard work, she is walking with the assistance of a cane or walker, and slowly piecing her life back together.
Friends and family of Geri are hosting the benefit to help Geri and her husband, Richard, also known as, SwampyD, rebuild their lives. Since May 2014, Geri has been unable to work. The goal of the benefit is to raise $25,000.00. The medical bills keep rolling in, as she continues her much needed care. In addition, needing her bathroom remodeled with more functionality.
