My Fair Lady

press release: The Janesville Performing Arts Center (JPAC) is excited kick off our 2016-2017 Season with Theatre Unlimited, Inc. as they present “My Fair Lady on Friday, Sept. 16th; Saturday, Sept. 17th; Thursday, Sept. 22nd; Friday, Sept. 23rd; and Saturday, Sept. 24th at 7pm with 2pm matinee performances on Saturday, Sept. 17th; Sunday, Sept. 18th; and Sunday and Sept. 25th.  Tickets are $21 for Adults and $16 for Students and available by calling the JPAC Box office at 608-758-0297, in person at 408 South Main street, or online at JanesvillePAC.org.

“My Fair Lady” will be produced at the Janesville Performing Arts Center, 408 S Main Street, Janesville, 53545, with a live orchestra!  What makes this production truly unique is that their leading lady, Aly Bitter, lives in Astoria, NY and has been rehearsing via Skype. They flew her in for a weekend of intensive in-person rehearsal with the cast, musical director and choreographer and to get fitted for her costumes. There is a “stand-in” Eliza during her scenes but she reads her lines and sings her songs from a 32-inch TV screen. Aly will fly back the week before the show opens. The entire cast is having a blast!
