Nancy Giffey

press release: Award- winning artist Nancy Giffey, has announced a Studio Clearance Exhibit, opening September 9, 2016. The exhibit will be shown at The Shoppe at Herbs, Spices and More, 7352 Highway 14, Arena, Wisconsin. Work spanning 1985 to 2015 will include colorful paintings, collages, mixed media work, and original pieces from her illustration portfolio. The artist will give a brief presentation during a public reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, September 24.
Widely known as the founder of the Rural Musicians Forum, which presents an annual series of summer concerts in the Spring Green area, as well as other musical events throughout the year, Giffey will donate a portion of the proceeds of the sale to the Forum.
The exhibit continues through October 27. Gallery hours are: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday; or by appointment (608-753-9000).
