media release: Yahara Bay Distillery is proud to present a day of music and the return of its signature comedy series "YaHAHA Bay" on Saturday, June 12!
Kicking off the event will be the incredible local musician and a long-time Yahara Bay favorite act, Skylar Nahn! Skylar is a one-man act. Bringing his handmade suitcase kick-drum/tambourine set up, guitar, harmonica, and loop pedal, he transforms his sound into a full, well-rounded musical experience. His versatile sound and voice allow him to carry out original tunes and covers in the genres of folk, rock, and pop. You'll be amazed at the musical space that one man can fill!
The amazing local R&B, hip-hop and neo-soul artist Xander Anim will follow with his three piece band The Whole Ya Dig. Xander is a former spoken word poet turned musician with a sultry sound and a knack for lyricism and artistry. His backing band and original music will have you on your feet and in your feelings.
Our comedy show will be headlined by Natasha Pearl Hansen, and hosted by Jake Snell. Natasha Pearl Hansen is a nationally touring headliner who has spent the last ten years of her career working up the ranks of the L.A. comedy scene, culminating with the recent (April) release of her Madison-filmed special I was Supposed to get Married Today which was released through Comedy Dynamics and is currently available through Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
The lineup will also include sets Craig Smith and Shawn Vasquez. With this very strong comedy scene returning, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO WANT TO MISS THIS AMAZING LINEUP!
