Neighborhood House 100th Birthday Celebration

press release: Madison’s first community center will turn 100 on Saturday, September 24th, and you are invited to their birthday party. The celebration begins at 1 PM with live music and performances and featuring Edi Rey y su Salsera at 3 PM. Stick around for a “Taste of the Neighborhood Dinner” prepared by local restaurants, including Rocky Rococo’s, Hong Kong Café and O.S.S., from 5 to 7, and top it off with a screening of the 1987 romantic comedy “Moonstruck” at 7:30. The music and movie are free; tickets for the dinner are $15 and may be purchased in advance at Neighborhood House or by phone at 608-255-5337. All festivities will take place at Neighborhood House, located at 29 S. Mills.
