Support Grassroots Recovery Efforts in Nepal!
A devastating earthquake has ravaged Nepal, the worst since 1934, killing over 5,600 people and leaving many more homeless and destitute. Madison has many ties to Nepal and there are lots of ways people can express their solidarity.
The Helambu Project is now collecting donations for recovery efforts in Nepal – you can find out details at: http://helambuproject.org/donate-in-the-usa/
Mirch Masala (449 State St.) is donating proceeds from its buffet meal on Mon. May 4th from 11:30 am – 3:00 pm to Nepal relief efforts. Info? www.mirchmasala.com
