Organize Against Anti Hip-Hop Racism in Madison

press release: Madison has a long history of anti hip-hop racism. Folks who have lived here for a long time know that the police and the city bureaucracy stays finding ways to single out and persecute venues that host hip-hop in Madison. It has served to make it next to impossible to have a hip-hop scene in Madison.

We the people will stand together and organize against the racist actions that Madison takes year after year against hip-hop in Madison and we will fight from the grassroots for an inclusive music scene in Madison that allows opportunities to ALL folks in Madison and ALL genres.

Join this community based group as we come together for the first time, decide on our structure, decide on our goals and tactics and make plans to move forward and achieve lasting and substantial change in our communities.
