media release: Summer 2026 Exhibitions
Galleries I, II, III: Tuesday, June 9– Sunday, August 30
Playhouse Gallery: Tuesday, June 2 – Sunday, August 23
In our summer exhibitions, artists navigate personal and collective experiences while honoring cultural identity. Across the galleries, themes of transformation through grief and loss emerge. Artists examine the human form, pivotal life events and inner worlds through photography, mixed media, sculpture and more. Their work reflects on the challenges that have shaped them, revealing how loss can lead to unexpected perspectives and deeper self-awareness.
Overture Galleries are always free and open to the public, with most artworks available for purchase.

Gallery I: Echoes Between Us
In this exhibition, Fatemeh Fani and R-Lo create work that "echoes memories emerging from a shrouded haze." Through a variety of media, they transform pain into resonance that invites viewers to recognize what often passes unnoticed.
Gallery II: Natural Bodies
Works of Blue Naga and Ciel Skål blur the boundaries between the human body and the natural world. This exhibition reflects on the intimacy and solidarity between the environment and the feminine experience, while tracing the layered histories that have shaped how both land and body are perceived, valued and inhabited.
Gallery III: Shadow Work
The works of Nika McKagen and Chele Ramos explore the realms unseen by the naked eye; behind shadows lie places unexplored, whether in the mind, memory or earth.
