Party Favor, Antics, mindcntrl, Davilla
press release: Few acts have the innovative character and diverse repertoire of Los Angeles' fastest rising name in bass. Dylan Ragland took the name Party Favor to bring a series of unexpected influences to electronic music. The result: an effort that helped to pioneer the festival trap genre and turn heads across the globe. His debut EP with Bombsquad Records charted instantly on Beatport. He currently jumps between groundbreaking collaborations and creating ingenious original records such as "Bap U" from Mad Decent, and more.
"Bap U" has racked up almost 3 million plays on Soundcloud and has made its way into the top 50 on iTunes dance charts. Its success lead to the making of an amazing music video that attracted cameos by Diplo, ETC! ETC!, Ookay, TJR, Brillz, and Seth Green. After the success of the video premiere, "Bap U" was heard by a much larger audience as it was the score in a national Tmobile TV and Radio Commercial. But this was not the first appearance of Party Favor tracks on your tv, because his "Drama" Remix was also in ESPN's 2014 NBA draft commercial.
Taking to station's like Power 106 and BBC radio to record mixes, and performing on some of the biggest stages produced by industry leaders such as Insomniac, Ultra, and SFX, he finds his platforms getting larger each week. Now, with official work on Spinnin Records, Ultra Records and Mad Decent, Party Favor paves his way into 2015 with twerk, trap and everything in between. Party Favor's music continues to reel in millions of plays and gain support in iconic sets such as Jack U's debut at Ultra Music Festival, and others across the globe. Including his own iconic sets through the course of his international tours through Australia, Brazil, and Japan.
